How do I secure an artist for my event?
Whatever your needs, be it information on a specific artist or suggestions for your event, our agents are here to answer your questions to help you find the right talent for your event.
How far in advance should I book an artist?
We can book an artist for an event within days should you have an emergency need or are planning an event months in advance. Each Creative Control artist is unique, so contact us with your dates and needs.
Does Creative Control handle engagements outside Liverpool or Germany?
Yes, we handle engagements for clients all over the world.
What are your payment terms?
We require a 50% deposit upon signing the contract and the remaining 50% is due one month before the date of the engagement. We also require that all travel expenses be paid in advance. On some engagements, we may require a deposit toward approximate expenses with the actual bill settled after the event. Your Creative Control agent will detail the specific expenses required for the individual artist prior to the firm offer.
What are the fees, commission, and expenses? Is your Agency commission included in the fee?
The contract amount includes the complete agency fee for all services rendered. By coming to us direct for our artists, you also ensure that there is no mark-up or additional costs.
Who will help us with Travel and the Event Details?
Creative Control employs professional logistics coordinators that will help plan artist’s travel and can liaise between you and the artist. The purpose of our logistics coordinators is to work closely with you and our artists to ensure a smooth and successful event.

“Before joining the Creative Control, I spent a lot of wondering if I can be defined as ‘an artist’. I can’t draw anything more complex than a smiley-face, I don’t dance well on stage and have no idea which lenses to use for what photos or which button to push on the camera other than the big shiny one. But does it make me less of an artist?
Creative Control showed me that it’s only about how we perceive our reality. An international relations specialist is no less an artist than a blind man playing an imaginary violin on the corner of the street. They helped me to find my sphere – the Art of Life.
The pictures I take are notes on the margins of my diary to keep of the beautiful moments I have been through, my written works are dreams yet to fill. I dance and sing, I live and do that with an awareness of beauty around me, all thanks to the Creative Control.
Should someone ask what Creative Control controls, I’d say – they are there to control your daily background, which can bring you down, giving you time to involve yourself in much more fun activities than looking for sponsors, representation or anything else.”

Letter Art – Crossing The Line
Letters as a graphical element are all around us in our everyday life. They are used to draw our attention, to evoke our curiosity or to convey a meaning. But the use of letters is only meant to emphasise and deliver information.
The Greek word ‘graphein’ – of which ‘graphics’ is derived – has many meanings including to write, carve and draw, for which our modern languages have separate words with distinct meanings. But there is a relation between these actions. Exploring the nature of this relation, not only for the sum of all letters but also in regard to a single letter, is the essence of my work.
A single letter is the elementary and distinctive graphical unit of all writing. Even a single grapheme can demonstrate the pictographic and emblematic quality of lettering – every line, every filled and empty space has its importance.
